Balsamic Asparagus

Ingredients
      1 bunch of asparagus
      2 tbsp butter
      1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp light sodium soy sauce
      salt and pepper to taste
      olive oil

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Arrange asparagus on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and a dash of salt and pepper.  Bake asparagus in preheated oven for 12 minutes, until tender.
  • While asparagus is in oven, in a saucepan, melt the butter, then stir in balsamic vinegar and soy sauce.  Once asparagus is out of the oven, drizzle asparagus with sauce and enjoy.

***I have also added sesame seeds to the sauce for a little flare, which is also great, especially with salmon or halibut.  This is a great sauce to put on top of any fish.***

Hubby Rating: 9.5, this is a great dish, easy to make and tastes wonderful.  You will enjoy the flavor and the change in your typical asparagus recipe!
