Bar-B-Que Sauce

2 c ketchup
1 c water
1/2 c apple cider vinegar
5 tbsp light brown sugar
1/2 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp ground mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce


  • Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan, and allow to simmer for about an 1 hour and 15 minutes stirring frequently.
  • Depending on your taste buds, I will usually add garlic and molasses (depends on your personal taste preference) to the mixture as well.
